Mr. James Douglas "Doug" Sanders, 60, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Moore officiating the service.  Interment will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Josh Lowe, Michael Lowe, Laron Wiles, Jr., Nick Kopiar, Quincy Thompson, and Roger Thompson.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Sanders was born March 31, 1959 in Huntingdon, Tennessee.  He was employed by Procter and Gamble as a technician.  He was preceded in the death by his mother, Ruth Helen Parker, one brother, Donald Ray Sanders, father, Elery "Rod" Parker, and grandmother, Jennie Sanders.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shelby Sanders, one daughter, Melissa Townsend of Huntingdon, his father, William Sanders (Mary) of Huntingdon, two sisters, Jeanie Lowe (Michael) of McKenzie, Patricia Campbell of Cedar Grove, and one brother, Steve Campbell of Milan.  He also leaves three grandchildren, Will Townsend, Brayden Townsend, Mason Townsend, several nieces and nephews.
