Mr. James W. Greer Sr., 77 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Lynn Stapleton will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Monday, from 8:00AM until time of service.

Mr. Greer was born July 12, 1937 in Benton County to the late Robert Greer and Lillie Mae (Smith) Greer. He retired from Environmental Services where he worked as a Project Manager, was a member of the Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of the Oakdale Senior Citizen's Group.

He is survived by one daughter; Cindy Sanders (husband Dennis) of Huntingdon, two sons; James W. Greer Jr. (wife Robin) of Oakdale, and Kenneth R. Greer (wife Debbie) of Marietta, Georgia, and one sister; Rebecca Holcomb of Springville, TN. He also leaves six grandchildren; Matthew Greer, Jennifer Lewis, Summer Greer, Ashley Korf, Amber Shapton and Trevor Sanders and ten great grandchildren.
