Mr. James Hershel "Buck" Rodgers, 82, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at his home.

Funeral will be conducted on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Maness officiating. Interment to follow in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Daniel Edwards, Burton Edwards, Cole Edwards, Seth Edwards, Robert Edwards, Lynn Breeden, Jimmy Darnell, and Jesasias Yoder.

Mr. Rodgers was born May 2, 1940, in Missouri, to the late William Herschel and Marguerite James Rodgers. He retired as a conductor for the CSX Railroad.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Betty Rodgers, a son, Adam Rodgers (Alison) of Brentwood, and two grandchildren, Adison Rodgers and Aubrey Rodgers.
