Mr. James Sylvane Kyle 69, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Humboldt.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Kyle was born in July 17, 1944 in Gibson County, Tennessee to the late Clarence Elmer and Bertha Thelma (Williams) Kyle. He was the owner of West End Cleaners and a graduate of Humboldt High school where he served as Class President, Beta President and FFA President. He was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Kyle, one sister, Christine Kyle, four brothers, Elmer Lee Klye, Jere Kyle, Bobby Gene Kyle and Aubrey Kyle.

He is survived by one daughter, Elisa Whitworth (husband Jeff) of Sharpsburg, Georgia; one son, James S. Kyle II of Huntingdon; two sisters, Thelma Traut of Camden, Judy Kyle of Jackson and three brothers, O.B. Kyle of Dover, Jay Kyle and Winston Kyle both of Humboldt. He also leaves one grandson, Austin Hill.
