Mr. James Henry Moore, 73 of Jackson, Tennessee formerly of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.

The family will receive friends on Monday in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Moore was born April 21, 1943 in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He was preceded by his parents Walter and Dollie Moore and his brothers Walter Moore Jr., John E. Moore, and Tommy D. Moore.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Moore; his children, James Lamon Moore, Tinesha Ann Overstreet, Monica Noel Moore, Barry Alexander Moore, and Kyle Christopher Moore; his son-in-law Demetrius Overstreet; his daughter-in-law Konstance Moore; his grandchildren Demetrius, James, Devean, Kelson, Dillon, Karter, Darrius, Kainin, and Gissel.

James also leaves his brother Willie C. Moore and his wife Linda; his brother Jimmie C. and his wife Rena; his sister Freddie Brooks; his sister Mattie Smith and her Husband Homes; his sister Geraldine Taylor and her husband Calvin; his sister Linda Johnson; and his aunt Ethiline Spencer, and a host of nieces and nephews.
