Obituary

Mr. James Everett Parker, 94, of Huntingdon passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his son's residence in Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his wife Phairsee (Owens) and wife Beatrice (Thomas).

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 12 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church
From 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Parker was born January 9, 1922 in Clarksburg, Tennessee to the late Johnny James and Grace Leslie Parker. He retired from both TVA and Ninth Street House Restaurant/Catering service in Kentucky. Mr. Parker was a faithful member, Deacon and Trustee at St. Paul Church, and was a WWII United States Army Veteran serving in France.

Mr. Parker was a Past Master of Lodge #7 in Paducah, KY. He was also a member and Past Treasurer of Golden Eagle Lodge in Huntingdon.

He is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Richardson (Ralph) of Chattanooga, and Ann Holder of Huntingdon; one son, Terry G. Parker (Roberta) of Paducah, Kentucky. He also leaves nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
