Mr. James Reed, 65, of New Johnsonville, formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Bro. Larry Joe Ivy will officiate the service.  Interment will follow in Barr Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Reed was born November 13, 1954 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Alton Reed and Oma Lee "McCay" Reed.  He worked for Gaines Furniture in the office.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Terry Kenneth Reed.

He is survived by daughters, Jamie Ivy (Larry) of Buena Vista, Jessica Glosson (Jamie) of Yuma, one son, Josh Reed and one brother, Gary Reed, both of Huntingdon.  He also leaves ten grandchildren, Dillon Ivy, Lyric Ivy, Xander Ivy, Lainey Glosson, Scarlet Glosson, Rhet Glosson, Sadie Reed, Isabella Reed, Connor Reed, and Kyler Hilliard.
