Mr. James Robert Ridings, 79 of Bruceton, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

In lieu of flowers you may make donations to Carroll County Humane Society.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Pinkley will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Ridings was born December 19, 1932 in Henderson County to the late Robert Gardner Ridings and Lora Mae (Taylor) Ridings. He was a retired pattern engineer for the Henry I. Seigel Company and was baptized into Christ in 1999. He served in the Army as Medic in the Korean War. He was also preceded in death by his sister Sue Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie Ridings, one son, Mark Ridings, one daughter, Tobie Harding, both of Nashville, and two sisters, Mae Keeton of Huntingdon, and Faye Graham of Hollow Rock.
