Mr. James Smith, 52 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday January 20, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
Mr. Smith was born August 25, 1961 in Brewton, Alabama. He was self employed as a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Smith and father, Lloyd Pinkey Smith.
He is survived by five daughters, Ashley Smith of Huntingdon, Hope Franklin (husband Vance) of Bartow, Florida, Faith Gushlaw (husband Tony) of Chipley, Florida, Lori Balentine, Ryan Balentine both of Huntingdon, three sons, Jimmy Smith (wife Sabrina), Jeffery Smith and Josh Balentine all of Huntingdon, his mother, Annie Mae Smith of Bonifay, Florida three sisters, Lois Mathis (husband Larry), Virginia Smith (husband Danny), Jo Ann McCullough, two brothers, Frankie Smith, and Allen Smith all of Caryville, Florida. He also leaves nineteen grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
