Mr. James Boals Sr.,85 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at his home.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery with Bro. Tim Osborne officiating.

Mr. Boals was born on December 17, 1938, in Humboldt, to the late Hershel and Countess Emmerson Boals. He retired from the Milan Arsenal. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carol and Jerry Boals, a sister, Sara Davis, and a daughter in law, Noreen Evans.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Tina Boals, two sons, James Boals, Jr. (Suzanne) of Cedar Grove, and Paul Boals (Lisa) of Denver, Colorado, two step sons, Randy and Lance Evans, both of Charlotte, North Carolina, three sisters, Betty Jean Coble, of Edison, Tennessee, Shirley Jones of Jackson, and Peggy Welch, of Big Buck, and two brothers, Carey Boals, of Humboldt, and Billy Boals, of Medina. He also leaves 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Josh, James Russell III, Lydia, David William, and Krystine, and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Callen.
