Obituary

Mr. James Ernest Webb, 93, of Huntingdon, TN passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 18 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Long Rock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Webb was born December 12, 1928 in Camden, Tennessee, to the late Ernestine Webb and Della Elizabeth (Cole) Webb.  He was a retired truck driver for Roadway Express for thirty-two years and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. His favorite hobbies included working in his garden, doing wood work and rabbit hunting. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife of over 72 years, Bonnie Webb, four sisters, Madelyn Smith, Mildred Arrington, Mazel Chandler, Marie O'Neal, two brothers, Sebern Webb, and Travis Webb.

He is survived two sons, Randy Webb (Betty) of McKenzie and Billy Webb (Lecia) of Huntingdon one daughter, Gail West (Steve) of Huntingdon. He leaves six grandchildren, Jim (Kelli) Webb of Southaven, Mississippi, Lauren (Kyle) Bristow of Puyallup, Washington, Daron (Shayne Henson) Webb of Portland, Oregon, Kellen (Megan) Webb of Huntingdon, Jean NiCole (Zach) Tippitt of McKenzie and Stevie MiRanda (Logan) Stout of Murray, Kentucky. He also leaves fourteen great grandchildren, Hunter Webb, Heath Webb, Hayden Bristow, Jasper Bristow, Haron James Stout, Vera Tippitt, Hazel Jean Tippitt, Jackson Stout, Fallon Webb, Della Tippitt, Cora Tippitt, Declan Webb, Brian Arnold, Becky McKinney, Jessica Lyles, Ashley Lyles, and Mary Beth Lyes, two great great grandchildren, Tae Lynn and Kaison. In addition, he leaves his much loved nieces and nephews in his Webb Family and Roark Family.
