Mr. James Larry "Pug" Williams, 61, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Guy Wilkinson will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday after 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Hank Cash, Clayton Hucks, Randy Butler, Sammy Butler, Roger Newsome, and Richard Atwell. Honorary Pallbearers are Gene Hampton and Mark Blasingame.

Mr. Williams was born July 26, 1955 in Bruceton, Tennessee to the late L.T. Williams and Minnie Lucille (Jordan) Williams. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Miller Contractors. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Williams, Jerry Williams, and Donnie Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Debby Williams; six children, Larry Dale Williams, Channon Williams both of Hollow Rock, Kristi Riddle (Brian) of Humboldt, Christie Avery, James Williams (Beth) both of Huntingdon, and Cassi Williams of Dickson; two sisters, Sue Douglas (Henry) of Wildersville, Ann Dodson (Robert) of Big Sandy; four brothers, Darrell Williams (Anita), Joe Williams (Brenda) both of Huntingdon, Tim Williams (Jeanna) and Robert Williams both of Hollow Rock. He also leaves twenty grandchildren.
