Mr. James Wilson, 80, of Hollow Rock, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Nelson officiating. Interment to follow in Mixie Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearer who will serve are Chris Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Dennis Hughes, William Ivy, Larry Joe Ivy, Michael Wilson
Mr. Wilson was born February 12, 1945, in Carroll County, to the late Pearl Lee Wilson and Betty Lou Chester Wilson. He was a painter and a member of Mixie Missionary Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Simmons Wilson, four brothers, Ronnie Wilson, Leroy Wilson, Terry Wilson, Carl Wilson, three sisters, Patricia Gabberd, Sharon Wheat, Bonnie Rushing
He is survived by daughter, Lorra Boaz of Huntingdon, a son, Paul Wilson (Lisa) of Atwood, three sisters, Norma Jean Hughes of Camden, TN, Judy Snow of Mixie, TN, and Brenda Kemp of Hollow Rock, TN, three brothers, Charles Wilson of Huntingdon, Thomas Wilson of Bruceton, and Billy Wilson of Huntingdon. He also leaves seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
