Mrs. Jamie Carolyn Mason 78 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Forest Cove Manor in Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Spain Cemetery. Bro. Aaron Sirk will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Dustin James, Mason Dye, Owen James, Robbie Riggsby, Dwight Spain and Dylan Spain

Mrs. Mason was born December 22, 1934 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to the late John Hershel & Jessie (Fry) Spain. She was a retired caregiver and a member of the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Madlyn Rosel, Earnestine Spain and one brother, Kenneth Carmen Spain.

She is survived by three daughters, Cheri Dye (husband Jim) of Germantown, Cynthia Edwards (husband John) of Brentwood, and Carolyn James (husband Denis) of Jackson.; three sisters, Gerry Spain, Mary Flippin (husband Paul) both of Huntingdon, and Jan Carpenter of Cedar Grove and two brothers, Johnny Spain and Tommy Spain both of Cedar Grove. She also leaves eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
