Mrs. Margaret Jane Williams, 73 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Charity of Choice

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Liberty All Cemetery. Pastor Mark Carrigan and Rev. Dossie Wheatley will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Dr. Jerry Atkins, Dr. Scott Portis, Dr. Kevin Wheatley, David Rush, Ray McCormick and Bob Chase. Honorary Pallbearers who will serve are her Thursday Bridge Club.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Eastern Star Service will be held on Thursday at 8:30 PM

Mrs. Williams was born November 19, 1938 in Erwin, Tennessee to the late Ralph H. and Harriett (Woodward) Jones. She was a Retired Register Nurse with her last employment being at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, member of OES #180 where she served as W.M. several times, West Tennessee Gavel Club, Huntingdon Woman's Club and held office, Thursday Bridge Club, past member of Huntingdon Garden Club, Jr. Woman's Club, and Cub Scout Den Mother. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Diana Lamb.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Larry G. Williams, two sons, Brian Williams (wife Stephannie) of Jackson, Gary Williams of Huntingdon, one sister, Judy Vaughan of Jackson, and one brother, Ralph H. "Buzz" Jones, II, of Erwin. She also leaves two granddaughters, Katie Lou Chase and Rayanna Williams.
