Mrs. Janis Marie Lindsey, 72 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday March 2, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Stapleton officiating the service. Interment will follow in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Lindsey was born September 15, 1949 in Westport, Tennessee, to the late Sam Virgil Hedgepath, Jr. and Mildred Inez (Horn) Edlin.  She was a homemaker and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kemp Lindsey, one daughter, Amanda Corley (Keith) of Richton, Mississippi, two sons, Brent Lindsey (Kristin) of Hollow Rock, Eric Lindsey (Claudine) of Huntingdon, and one sister, Carolyn Floyd of Lexington.  She also leaves five grandchildren, Ethan Lindsey, Chloe Lindsey, Jackson Corley, Caleb Corley, Abigail Corley, a niece, Kristy Hamm (Joey), a nephew, Bradley Floyd (Niki), a great niece, Madelyn Floyd, three great nephews, Gabriel Floyd, Garrett Hamm, and Eli Floyd.
