Mr. J.C. Neely, 68, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Henry County Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mixie Cemetery. Bro. Michael Sharp and Bro. Kevin Williams will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Mr. Neely was born April 14, 1949 in Mixie, Tennessee to the late Arlie Estes and Annie Mae (Smith) Neely. He worked construction for A & P Construction and he served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Neely.
He is survived by his wife of 42years, Cindy Neely; three sons, John Joseph Neely (Karen) of Mixie, Charles Thomas Neely, and James Dustin Neely both of Hollow Rock; four sisters; Reathie Adcox (David) of Huntingdon, Ruby Herron (Greg) of Hollow Rock, Theresa Plunkett (Paul) of Salem, Alabama and Vicky Hendrix (Ronnie) of Darden, five brothers; Wayne Neely of Ashland City, Randy Neely (Sharon) of Olmsted, Illinois, Fred Neely of Huntingdon, Joseph Neely (Denise) of Baxter, and Raymond Neely (Terry) of Surry, Virginia. He also leaves seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
