Mrs. Jeanette Boyd, 77 of Bruceton, Tennessee, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Bro. Johnny Boyd will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Taylor Rich, Hal Boyd, Bobby Kirk, Bob Chase, Mike Kemper, Anthony Boyd, and Tim Boyd.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from noon until time of service.

Mrs. Boyd was born April 7, 1940 in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late, Arville and Ursula (Melton) Byars. She was formerly employed by Publix Shirt Corporation, Medlin Retail, Allgoods Salvage and Taylor's Retail. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Sue Cannon and one brother, Ralph Byars.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul Boyd, one daughter, Carla Sanders (husband Dave) of Bruceton and one brother, Hershel Byars (wife Mildred) of Huntingdon. She also leaves two grandchildren, Taylor Rich, Charlee Sanders, and several nieces and nephews.
