Mrs. Jennie Melissa Sanders 94, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Buddy Cannon will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Sanders was born January 1, 1919 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Moses C. and Margaret (Nesaroad) Twyman. She was homemaker and a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Sanders, three sisters, Marie Rosser, Margaret Frazee, Mary Bell Grimm, six brothers, Cortis Twyman, Herbert Twyman, George Twyman, Frank Twyman, Walter Twyman, Charles Twyman and one grandson, Donald Sanders.

She is survived by two sons, James Ray Sanders, of Bruceton and William Sanders of Huntingdon. She also leaves three grandchildren, Doug Sanders, Lisa McGaig, Jeanie Lowe, two step grandchildren, Steven Campbell and Patty Campbell, five great grandchildren, Melissa, Josh, Tasha, Michael, Amanda and three step great grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Trisha and eleven great great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren.
