Mr. Jerry Hollowell 64, of Westport, Tennessee passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Brother Verdell Allen and Judge Donald Parish will officiate the service.

He was born January 16, 1949 in Carroll County, Tennessee. He professed faith in his Savior at an early age and was a member of Mt. Comfort Missionary Baptist Church and a transportation worker for the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He married Annie Louise Hampton in June of 1967. They were childhood sweethearts, best friends and always remained sweethearts throughout their life together. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lexie Hollowell.

Jerry loved his family dearly and had many, many friends and neighbors. All that knew him loved him. He will be missed greatly by everyone. God surely had a special place in heaven for him.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise (Hampton) Hollowell, one daughter, Wanda Annette Hollowell (special companion John D. Hart), his mother, Clarcie Hollowell, all of Yuma, one brother, James Edward Hollowell (wife Anna Laura Hollowell) of Kingston Springs. He also leaves two grand-daughters, which were his pride and joy, Candace Nichole Gooch and Meagan Brooke Gooch.
