Mr. Jerry Massey McGee 71, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Bro. Donald Ricketts will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM.

Mr. McGee was born April 6, 1941 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late James Walter McGee and Mildred Willodean (Mann) McGee. He was a retired supervisor for the Publix Shirt Company, a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon; he also had been a member of the Huntingdon Jay-Cees and Huntingdon Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years; Dorothy McGee of Huntingdon, Daughter Jatanna Anderson (husband Michael) of Lexington, one sister; Diann Edwards (husband Dudley) of Huntingdon, and three brothers; Jimmy McGee (wife Gloria) of Huntingdon, Billy McGee (wife Ann) of McKenzie and Ricky McGee (wife Barbara) of Huntingdon. He also leaves two grandsons; Justin Anderson, Dylan Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
