Mr. Jerry Neal Smith, 89 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Burns officiating the service. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Smith was born June 24, 1931 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to the late Ernest L. Smith and Rachel (Reynolds) Smith. He was the owner of Smith's Service Center, a member of Eastview Baptist Church and was a National Guard Veteran. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Smith, two sisters, Jean Wilson and Wilma McKinney and a brother, Ernest R. Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Smith, a daughter, Barbara Tyson of Huntingdon, two sons, David Smith (Pamela) of Seattle, Washington and Ricky Smith of Cedar Grove, two brothers, Murray Smith of Nashville and Marshall Smith (Faye) of Camden. He also leaves six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
