Obituary

Mr. Jerry Jackson Wooley, 76, of Yuma passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Halter officiating the service. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Kevin Hart, John Hart, Tim Pritchard, Tommy Moody, Terry Altom, and Rex Hart. Honorary pallbearers to serve are James Whitaker, Charlie "Zip" Pritchard, Robert Horn, R. David Cary

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Wooley was born August 16, 1942 to the late Andrew Jackson Wooley and Stacy Wood. He had retired from Magnetek in Lexington, served in the Army National Guard and a member of Yuma Missionary Baptist Church. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Wooley, two sisters, Betty Wood and Wanda Perry, three brothers, Larry Wooley, Gary Wooley, and Barry Wooley.

He is survived by two sons, Greg Wooley (Carolyn), Kenneth Wooley both of Yuma, a brother, Danny Joe Wooley (Shirley) of Lexington. He also leaves two grandchildren, Bridget Duggan (Kyle), Brandi Wooley, two great grandchildren Landon Duggan, Lennox Duggan, and several nieces and nephews.
