Jessie Raye Long's Obituary
Ms. Jessie Raye Gately Long, 84 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at the NHC Health Care in Milan, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Barger officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Independence Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends on Sunday from Noon until time of service.
Mrs. Long was born September 15, 1933 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late Elton Ray Gateley and Dora Mae (Hamilton) Gately. She was a homemaker and a member of the Milan Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Gateley and a sister, Mellia Worrell.
She is survived by a sister, Dee Ann McAlexander of Cedar Grove and a brother, Samuel Gateley (wife Annise) of Bruceton. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
