Ms. Jewell B. Simpson, 85 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Fred Newman and Bro. Dale Price officiating.  Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Ms. Simpson was born July 23, 1936 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late George Everett and Florence (Wiles) Eskew.  She was a homemaker and a member of Chickasaw Drive Church of Christ.  Beside her parents she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rose Wilson, one great great granddaughter, Palmer Bolton, nine brothers and sisters, George Arthur Eskew, Darrell Lynn Eskew, Virgie Lou McMinn, Robert Wayne Eskew, Gaylon Monroe Eskew, Betty Joyce Crider, Ivy Jane Davis Callison, Juston Kenneth Eskew, and Mildred Marie Walls.

She is survived by four sons, Dennis Simpson (Ruth), David (Shrimp) Simpson, Billy Simpson (Vicki), Mark Simpson (Robin), son-in-law, Billy Wilson all of Huntingdon.  She also leaves eleven grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
