Mr. Jimmy Lane Coffman, 68 of Lavinia, Tennessee, passed away Monday, February 27, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. L. C. Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow in Carter's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 11:00 until time of service.

Mr. Coffman was born January 2, 1955, in Cicero, Illinois, to the late Wayne Maxwell and Helen (Capps) Coffman.  He worked for A. O. Smith and was a member of Carter's Chapel United Methodist Church.  Other than his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gail Coffman, who passed away November 4, 2022.

He is survived by, two sons, Chris Coffman (Cindy) of Lexington, and Avery Coffman (Sadie) of Huntingdon, one sister, Jackie Dover of  Trenton, two brothers, Johnny Coffman and Joel Coffman, both of Lavinia.  He also leaves six grandchildren, Danal Wood (Amanda), Jackson Coffman, Paisley Coffman, Anna Coffman, Abigail Coffman, Jesse Coffman, and a great-granddaughter, Allie Jo Wood.
