Mrs. Sandra Hones, 61 of McKenzie, Tennessee, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Long Rock Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Furr will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Monday, from 8:00AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Sue Barnes, Thomas Williams, Jason Edwards, L.T. Kee, Gena Barker, Frank Rezac, and Mike Hones.

Mrs. Hones was born December 14, 1951 in Lexington, Tennessee to the late Henry Essary and Addie (James) Essary. Her occupation was a correctional officer for the Carroll County Sheriff's Department.

She is survived by her husband, of 23 years, Thomas Hones, one daughter, Jennifer Sellers of Milan, one son, Josh White (wife Melanie) of Huntingdon, one sister, Judy Hatchett (husband Larry) of Lexington, and two brothers, Glen Essary (wife Pam) of Montana, and Johnny Essary of Lexington. She also leaves five grandchildren, Kayla, Allison, Chesney, Ethan, and Erin.
