Mrs. Joelene Hames Walker, 67 of Senatobia, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

The family requests that visitors please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Cemetery with Fr. Herbert Ene officiating.

The family will receive friends at Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM.

Pallbearers who will serve are Dustin Walker, Cole Brocato, Ricky Buchanan, Randy Buchanan, Adam Hames, John Webb, Charlie Beal, and Logan Granier.

Mrs. Walker was born July 1, 1954 in Trezevant, Tennessee, to the late Ira J. T. and Pearline (Griffin) Hames.  She worked as a clerk for DuPont and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Batesville, Mississippi.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill Hames, J. T. Hames, and Bobby Hames.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Kenneth B. Walker, one daughter, Kerry Sheldon (Kane) of Temecula, California, one son, Dustin Walker (Lori) of Murfreesboro, one sister, Martha Ann Buchanan of Memphis, two brothers, Kethal Hames (Diane) of Cedar Grove, and Randall Hames of Christmasville.  She also leaves six grandchildren, Emma, Sophia, Macy, Cameron, Taylor, and Peyton.
