Mr. John William Holt, 70 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Andrew Stokes and Bro. Jim Holt officiating the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 Pm and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Mr. Holt was born January 10, 1950 in Erin, Tennessee to the late Seborn Holt and Pearl (Smith) Holt. He was a retired construction electrician for the IBEW Local Union 429 and was a member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years. Patricia Holt, one son, Brian Holt of Westport, two daughters, Melanie Stokes (Andrew) of Huntingdon. Mallory Cooper (Matthew) of McKenzie, one sister, Nola Henderson (Grover) and one brother, Jim Holt (Barbara) both of Huntingdon. He also leaves four grandchildren, Benjamin Stokes, Emma Stokes, Madelyn Cooper, Max Cooper, a niece, a nephew and multiple friends.
