Mr. John Robert Nolen, 61, of Spring Creek, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Therapy Learning Center, 10 Garland Drive, Jackson, TN 38305

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Humbles Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Don Dyer will officiate the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Matthew Tomlin, Jesse Short, Victor Rich, Steven Rich, David Rich, and Brent Meggs. Honorary pallbearers will be MacDean Humphreys and Larry McQuire.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mr. Nolen was born August 26, 1955 in Milan, Tennessee, to the late John Lebron and Frances Lee (Smith) Nolen. He was an Engineer Aide for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, also an over the road truck driver, and an Army Vietnam Veteran. He was also preceded in death by one son, John Christopher Nolen.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Gay Nolen, one daughter, Megan Tomlin (husband Matthew) of Medina, one son, John Michael Luther (wife Jennifer) of Thomas Station. He also leaves four grandchildren, Ashley Luther, Karlie Griffith, Ansley Griffith, and Nolen Tomlin.
