Mr. Johnny Ray Pinson 84, of Hollow Rock Passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Funeral services will be conduct on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Steve Davis will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Chad Edwards, James Avril Jr., Jonathan Pinson, Kendall Jackson, Kevin Jackson and Jimmy McEwen. Honorary Pallbearers are Captain Jeremy Pinson Commander 744 Ordnance Company, Buddy Whitaker, Jerry Kelly and Jerry Massey.
Mr. Pinson was born June 20, 1929 in Carroll County, Tennessee to late Rufus Nathan and Bernice (Presson) Pinson. He was a retired guard for the Henry I Siegel Company, was a member of the Marlboro Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #731 in Bruceton. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Junior Pinson.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorene Pinson, four daughters, Judith Avril (husband James) of Brentwood, Lindel Jackson (husband Kenneth), Suzie Edwards (husband Brian) both of Huntingdon, Lucy Daugherty (husband Patrick) of Spring Hill and one son, Johnny Rickey Pinson (wife Flossie) of Middle Town, Delaware; two sisters, Jackie McGowan (husband Larry) of Camden, Roslyn Scott of Maryville and one brother, Tony Pinson (wife Brenda) of Bruceton. He also leaves nine grandchildren, James Avril, Jr, Kevin Lynn Jackson, Rebecca Doherty, Jonathan Pinson, Kendall Jackson, Jeremy Pinson Chad Edwards, Robyn Edwards, Olivia Daugherty and nine great grandchildren.
