Mr. Johnny Walls,78, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. noon in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Nicky McMinn officiating.  Burial will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. and on Monday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Justin Glover, Jeremy Glover, Joseph McCaig, John Clint McCaig, Max Morris, Matt Lynch, Trace Thomas, and Jude Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Thomas and Hammer Yount and Charles Davison.

Mr. Walls was born April 26, 1947, in Huntingdon, to the late Jessie Oudley Walls and Martha Lucille McMinn Walls.  He worked in production for Lexington Metal and was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Bertha Walls and two daughters, Melinda Gayle Walls Stafford and Amanda Walls Townsend.

He is survived by, a daughter, Sandra Glover (Ezzie) of Cedar Grove. He also leaves eight grandchildren, Justin Glover (Lauren), LaCinda Thomas (Carl) Jeremy Glover (Leah), Jennifer Yount (Hammer), Joseph McCaig (Alex), John Clint McCaig, Haley Davison (C.J.), Max Morris (Skylar), eighteen great-grandchildren, Aiden, Braylee, Bentlee, Allie, Jude, Kaci, Trace, Hudson, J.W., W.J., Leota, Jack, Mary, John, Ben, Michael, Annistyn, Rosalie,  one great-great grandchild, Evie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
