Mr. Joseph George Chabot, Sr. 78 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Henderson County Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Carrigan will officiate the service

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Chabot was born October 8, 1936 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late George Joseph and Olivia Eva (DeChamplain) Chabot. He was retired from Atlantic Homes Corp., a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntingdon, the American Legion, and served in the United States Marines. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Irene Chabot; two sons, David Alan Chabot, Joseph George Chabot, Jr., and six sisters, Mary Ann LaValley, Jackie Ricco, Elaine Angier, Rita Darcy, Claire Kazibo, and Yvonne Dombrowski.

He is survived by two daughters, Laura Hooten (husband Teddy) of Huntingdon and Lynnette Douglas (husband Ricky) of Yuma. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
