Mr. Joseph "Joe" Edward Beavers, 66 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Saturday December 1, 2012 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Beavers was born March 29, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Ralph Edward Beavers and Helen Rose (Pawlowski) Beavers. He was a retired Orthopedic Physicians Assistant for the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic, in which he received Tennessee's first license as such, and was a member of the Romeo Group in Huntingdon and a Vietnam Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn (Hatch) Beavers, one daughter, Mary Michelle Hall of Cleveland, two sons, Jeffrey E. Beavers (wife Teresa) of Knoxville, Jason L. Beavers (wife Jessica) of Johnson City, three brothers-in law, Billy Hatch (Wife Willie), William Hatch (wife Polly) and James Hatch (wife June), two aunts, Jean Zoworski, Evelyn Staskiewicz. He also leaves nine grandchildren, Meleah Hulme, Sierra Trott, Justin Smith, Christopher Hall, Rachael Beavers, Morgan Beavers, Maddie Beavers, Jacob Evan Beavers, and one grandson on the way.
