Mr. Joseph Lee Floyd, 43 of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mixie Cemetery. Bro. Tony Boyd will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Chris Luther, Josh Hastings, Warner Thomas, Ross Thomas, Mitch Haynes, and Josh Haynes.

Mr. Floyd was born June 2, 1970 in Huntingdon, Tennessee. He was a self employed construction welder and he was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Floyd and one daughter Samantha Floyd.

He is survived by two sons, Aaron Floyd of McKenzie, Jagger Floyd of Huntingdon, his mother, Judy Barnhart of Jackson, one sister, Nancy Sullivan (husband Ricky) of Huntingdon, and one brother, Dale Thomas (wife Janet) of Jackson. He also leaves three nephews and one niece.
