Mrs. Juanita Usery Smith, 87 of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Dan Winkler will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Mrs. Smith was born January 3, 1929 in Gibson County, Tennessee to the late James Usery and Ruby Lane Mann Usery. She was a retired beautician and a member of the Bruceton Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Oscar Smith and one sister, Thelma Simon.

She is survived by one daughter, Suzanne Smith Snider (husband Danny) of Bruceton; one son, Joe Max Smith (wife Angie) of Vale; two sisters Virginia Ann Sparks of Indiana and Betty Sue Piper of Colorado; one sister- in -law, Virginia Smith (Wade) of Huntingdon. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Amy Smith (Tim), Casey Smith (Bethany), Nichole Baker (Jeff), Nicholas Eason (Abby), Shannon Snider (Vanessa), Cesi Higdon, Kayla Oatsvall (Josh), and J.T. Smith, eight great grandchildren, Stephen, Kristen, Elizabeth, Colton, Cole, Staley, Brady, Chase, Cameron, Fallon, Olivia, and Gage,one great great grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
