Mrs. Karen Sue Burns, 67 of Westport, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jamison Cemetery. Bro. Tim Parish and Bro. Billy Clark will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday after 4:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are JR Cary. Brad Cary, Josh Cary, Adam Cary, Jamie Burns, and David Cary. Honorary Pallbearers are Gray Parish, Hunter Peterson, Eric McMinn, Ryan McMinn, and Sam Parish.
Mrs. Burns was born October 29, 1950 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Henry Elvin and Pauline (Todd) Cary. She was a Receptionist for the Wilson Clinic and a member of the Westport Church of Christ. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Laura Khokhar and a nephew, Andy Parish.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Paul Burns of Westport; a daughter, Amanda Beth Hayes of Lexington; a son, Cary Michael Hayes (Monica) of Spring Hill; four grandchildren, Alexis Brockington, Kyle Brockington, Chandler Hayes, and Drake Hayes; a sister, Joan Parish of Huntingdon; six brothers, Max Cary (Pansy) of Clarksburg, Wemp Cary (Kathie) of Westport, Jerry Cary (Helen) of Fairview, Terry Cary (Donna) of Huntingdon, Ricky Cary (Cookie) of Westport, and Randy Cary (Alissa) of Murfreesboro. She also leaves seventeen nieces and nephews and thirty-eight, great nieces and nephews.
