Mr. Kemp Wayne Hampton, 66 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Carter officiating the service. Interment will follow in Humbles Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Hampton was born April 19, 1953 in Milan, Tennessee the son of the late Arthur Wayne Hampton and Ruby Stegall Hampton. He was retired from DuPont and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Stella Williams, two brothers, Willard Hampton and David Willis.

He is survived by one daughter, Shelley Hampton of Bruceton, one son, Cedric Hampton of Huntingdon, a brother, Billy Ray Hampton of Huntingdon.  He also leaves one granddaughter, Aliyah Ford.
