Kennedy "Elroy" Gearin 76, of Lexington, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his home.

Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Tony Terrell will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until time of service.

He was born in Weakley County but resided in Lexington, TN since 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert "Bob" and Jewel Miles Gearin, 3 brothers, Thomas (Polly) Gearin, Robert "Bud" Gearin and Ferrell Gearin all of Greenfield, TN.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Helen Pratt Gearin, of Lexington, their daughter Cynthia (Bryan) Miller, and granddaughter, Rachel Miller, of Parsons, TN. 3 sisters Imogene (Leon) Pentecost, Lorene (Gordon) Jones of Greenfield, and Bonnie (Steve) Treadway of Whitehouse, TN. 2 children from a previous marriage Michael (Janice) Gearin of Pensacola, FL and a daughter, Sandra Burnett and grandson, Blake of Bradford, TN and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity or church of your choice in his memory.
