Mr. Larry Gene Ballard, 74, of Yuma, Tennessee passed away Monday, January
22, 2018 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt.

Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Lathan McLean will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends at Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 PM until time service.

Mr. Ballard was born July 20, 1943 in Clarksburg, Tennessee to the late Otis Thomas and Sara Lou (Haywood) Ballard. He was an over the road Truck Driver for 22 years and he served in the United States Army for 12 years where he was in the Infantry and the Airborne Rangers. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 33 years Ann Marie (Mims) Ballard.

He is survived by three daughters, Lou Davis (Brad) of McDonald, Eunice Meaders (Tom) of Bradenton, Florida , and Kathy Ballard of Decatur, Illinois; four sons, Alton Ballard (Kisha), Les Ballard both of Clarksburg, Gene Ballard of Tucson, Arizona, and Lynn Ballard (Patsy) of Ashdown, Arkansas; one brother, Harold Ballard (Julia) of Urbana, Illinois. He also leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
