Mr. Larry Forbess, 80, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Atkins officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Forbess was born September 13, 1945 in Milan, Tennessee to the late William Raymond Forbess and Jo Ina (Kirk). He was also preceded in death his wife Betty Forbess and by a grandson, Kirk Maddox. He worked for Norandal for over 32 years; after retiring He and Betty enjoyed traveling and spending time together, they spent every winter together in Gulf Shores. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church and the Huntingdon Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by a daughter, Angie Forbess Maddox (husband Matt), a son, Ryan Forbess (wife Michelle) all of Huntingdon, Tennessee, four grandchildren, Adam Maddox (wife Michelle), Ethan Maddox, Wyatt Forbess and Grace Forbess, and two great grandchildren, Gavin Maddox and Juliet Maddox.
