Mrs. Laura Jane Kirk,88 of Collierville, Tennessee passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at her home in Collierville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Halter officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Flat Cemetery in Cedar Grove.

The family will receive friends Wednesday in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until time of the service.

Mrs. Kirk was born September 16, 1934 in Camden, Tennessee to the late L.R. Burchum and Rebecca Lucille (Jordan) Burchum. She was a member Covington Baptist Church and the Holiday Ramblers; she was the co-owner of Kirk Trucking and Mulch. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Keith Kirk and a sister Edna Taylor

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Billy J. Kirk, a daughter, Sharon Walsh (Patrick) of Clinton, Arkansas, a son, Michael Kirk of Olive Branch, Mississippi, a sister, Alice Faye Baris (Bill) of Cleveland, Ohio, a brother, Kenneth Burchum of Memphis, a half brother, Johnny Burchum of Huntingdon, a grandson, Daniel Walsh of Fort Collins, Colorado and a great grandson, Sullivan Walsh.
