Mrs.  Frances Leona Chandler, 97, of Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at 1:30 P.M., in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. James Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Long Rock Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Michael Bales, Joey Bales, Brayden Bales, Tim Bennett, Michael Bennett, Steve Phelps.

Honorary Pallbearers who will serve are Tommy Eskew and Steve Rosser

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Chandler was born September 9, 1926, in Huntingdon, to the late David Homer and Lucy Elizabeth (Dill) Eskew. She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 78 years, T.C. Chandler, four brothers, Carlos Eskew, James Eskew, Martin Eskew, Ray Eskew, and a sister, Estell Rosser.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bales (David) of Huntingdon, a son, David Chandler, of Charlotte, and a sister, Ruth Bennett, of Huntingdon. She also leaves two grandchildren, Michael Bales (Kim) and Joey Bales, and two great-grandchildren.
