Mrs. Leota Florence Baker, 92, of the Leach Community, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Donald Ricketts will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Pallbearers who will serve are Tommy Baker, Kevin Campbell, Michael Moeller, Darren Norman, Cody Baker, Ethan Ricketts. Honorary Pallbearers are Brayden Campbell, Jason Elliott Postlethwait, Nate Ricketts, Seth Thomas Ricketts, and Benton Baker.
Mrs. Baker was born September 20, 1924 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to the late James Virgil and Florence (Kelly) Kee. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon and retired from Martin Marietta in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lee Baker; two sisters and nine brothers.
She is survived by her children, Harold Baker (Roberta) of Huntingdon, Jane Campbell (Gary) of Leach, Brenda Baker Walker of Huntingdon, Patty Davis (Gary) of Leach, Gail Turner (Roger) of Hollow Rock, and Penny (Johnny) Drinkard of Leach. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Tommy Baker (Camille) of Huntingdon, Kevin Campbell (Amy) of Huntingdon, Tina Smith Davis of Huntingdon, Tanya Ricketts (Donald) of Huntingdon, Kelli Postlethwait (Jason) of Huntingdon, Michael Moeller of Murfreesboro, Courtney Norman of Leach, Trina Davis (Bret) of Athens, Georgia, and Darren Norman (Felicia) of Leach, twelve great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, and a multitude of step grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
