Mrs. Lesa Gay Ward, 57 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery. Bro. Mark Carrigan will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Ward was born January 24, 1956 in Milan, Tennessee. She was a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, a homemaker and an Usher at The Dixie. She graduated from Bethel College with a B. A. Degree and was a former employee of Bank of Huntingdon. She was preceded in death by her father, Ollie Jurel Hampton and brother, Gerald Wayne Hampton.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Paul Ward, Jr., her mother, Marjorie Hampton, one daughter, Jill Ward Bonds (husband Tony), two sons, Hunter Ward (wife Suzanne), Travis Ward, all of Huntingdon, two sisters, Angela Pachciarz (husband Rob) of Smyrna and Sheila Hampton-Robb of Thompson Station. She also leaves two grandchildren, Elijah Bonds and Annalesa Bonds.
