Lessie "Buck" Edwards, age 92, of Griffith, IN, formerly of Hollow Rock, Tennessee, passed
away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Bro. Donald Ricketts will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Lessie was retired from Ford Motor Company with 30years of service. He was an Army veteran of WWII, a survivor of The Battle of The Bulge, and a Purple Heart recipient. Lessie was a member of the American Legion Post 485 in Schererville, IN, and a lifetime member of The V.F.W. of McKenzie, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; daughter, Diane Kegley; four brothers and two sisters.

Lessie is survived by his three children: Michael (Michelle) Edwards of Crown Point, Terry (Carol) Edwards of Gary, and Tammy (Mario) DiGiacomo of Cedar Lake; and ten grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren.
