Mrs. Lessie Marene Hollingsworth, 90 of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ridgely officiating.  Interment will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Hollingsworth was born August 16, 1930 in Trezevant, Tennessee, to the late Dewey Lee and Clara (Robinson) Blankenship.  She was retired from Basler Electric Company as a factory worker, a member of Huntingdon First Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.  She was also preceded in death two sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by one son, Roger Birdwell (Connie) of Cedar Grove, one daughter, Clara Mae Nanney (Don) of Collierville.  She also leaves five grandchildren, Jason Whitt, Roger Birdwell, Jr., Tennille Baker, Stephanie Spain, Rhonda Adams, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
