Mr. Ligie Serrell Hollingsworth, 82 of Bruceton, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home Bro. L. C. Hollingsworth officiating.  Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers who will serve are Mason Kyle, Jason Hollingsworth, Travis Kyle, Aiden Hester, Jammie Hollingsworth, and Anthony Rivera.  Honorary pallbearer was Eddie Sparks.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Hollingsworth was born June 17, 1939 in Trimble, Tennessee, to the late John Gail and Dora May (Crawford) Hollingsworth.  He was a mechanic engineer for Emerson Electric and a member of Church of Christ.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Betty Sue Hollingsworth, a daughter, Wanda Kyle, a son, Stevie Hollingsworth, two sisters, Betty Drewsilla Rivera, Imogene Camero, four brothers, Jackie Hollingsworth, John Gail Hollingsworth, Jr., Billy Ray Hollingsworth, and Jimmy Hollingsworth.

He is survived by one son, Timothy Lynn Hollingsworth (Lisa Rose), of Huntingdon, one sister, Linda Vega (Jose) of Finger, two brothers, Eddie Hollingsworth (Ronda) of Camden, and Bobby Hollingsworth of West Memphis, Arkansas.  He also leaves seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
