Ms. Linda Lorell Abbott, 70, of Lexington, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Joshua Griffin officiating the service. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Jaden McMullen, Bruce House, Wilburn Allen, John Brown, Richard Simmons and Robert Simmons

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Ms. Abbott was born September 18, 1948 in Westport, Tennessee, to the late Carlie Allen and Magnolia Simmons Allen. She was a member of Mt. Comfort Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Johnson Controls. She was also preceded in death by her husband Onus Abbott.

She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Morgan, a son, Mark Abbott (wife Sherri) both of Lexington, two sisters, Sue House (husband Bruce) of Cedar Grove and Velda Tegethoff (husband Terry) of Christmasville, three brothers, Milburn Allen (wife Patricia) of Hollow Rock, Malcolm Allen (wife Anna) of Westport and Melvin Allen (wife Ramona) of Lavinia. She also leaves two grandchildren, Phyllis Brown and John Brown (wife Afton), five great grandchildren Savannah McMullen, Jaden McMullen, Seven Skinner, Bailey Brown, Gabriella Brown and many nieces and nephews.
