Linda Lou Fields, 73, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jeffery Moody officiating.  Interment will follow in Union Academy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Fields was born April 9, 1947 in Clarkston, Michigan to the late James Wesley Pruitt and Alice Lourine (Gean) Pruitt. She was a retired seamstress for the Publix Shirt Corporation after 27 years of service. She was also preceded in death by her husband, of 51 years, "Buddy" Ray Newbill Fields, whom passed away June 13, 2020.

She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Hawkins (husband Tim) of Lacoochee, Florida, one son, James Howard Thompson Jr. of Huntingdon, two sisters, Lula Crossno (husband Manuel) of Huntingdon, Sharon Roberts of Florida, and one brother, Wayne Pruitt of Florida. She also leaves three grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith, Sarah Drinkard, Bobby Ray Hawkins, three step-grandsons and 10 great-grandchildren.
